Many of the Fundamental healthcare centers have distinct units dedicated to the care of patients who are medically stable, but also need specialized nursing and/or rehabilitative care. Some examples include patients recovering from strokes, cardiac, orthopedic, or transplant surgery, patients with chronic or acute pulmonary conditions, brain injury, individuals with acute or chronic wounds, and more. All care and services are provided by a skilled interdisciplinary team of professional caregivers under the direction of a physician. Depending on the programs available at the healthcare center, specialist physicians are also available.
