Our comprehensive Alzheimer's services focus of our on the total needs of each patient
and his/her family, while emphasizing dignity, self-esteem, compassion, understanding, and security.
Many facilities feature a separate, specialized therapeutic residence that can more effectively meet the
needs of patients with Alzheimer's.
Staff
Our team of skilled professionals includes nurses, aides, activities specialists, food service
providers, housekeepers, and maintenance personnel. Each member of the Alzheimer's staff receives
extensive training in recognizing the characteristics of Alzheimer's disease and using techniques that
emphasize effective communication and behavior management approaches. The center's independent Medical
Director is actively involved in care planning and delivery and is on call 24 hours a day.
Environment and Services
The environment of the Alzheimer's wing presents a soothing atmosphere, while reducing isolation
caused by the disease. Cleanliness, safety, and simple decor promote orientation and independence. We
strive to minimize any sense of loss, while maximizing each patient's potential and capabilities during
a difficult time of life. Patients may receive the following services:
